Preschool

Dawn to Dusk offers free Preschool to children ages 3 to 5. We are a collaborative partner with the Plainfield Public School District. Our program is full day (8:30am-2:30pm) and wrap-around services are available (7:30am-5:30pm). Dawn to Dusk has 8 classrooms and can support up to 120 students. Each classroom has a P-3 certified teacher and a co-teacher. Dawn to Dusk has a bilingual program and implements the High/Scope Curriculum which has been tested and researched for over 40 years. The curriculum supports children in their approaches to learning, social and emotional development, physical development and health, language, literacy and communication, mathematics, creative arts, science and technology, and social studies.

Dawn to Dusk offers a summer program to children ages 3 to 5. This program provides children with a rich and supportive environment to continue learning throughout the summer months. Children will engage in many indoor and outdoor activities as well as have the opportunity to attend field trips and learn from visitors.
